Jo GutteridgeAssistant Coach and Fundraising Secretary
 Jo has been involved in scouting since 2001, serving as Group Committee member and Treasurer for a local scout group. Jo became Secretary to the Break Out Canoe Club after both her sons had enjoyed canoeing activities organised by the club. She has since moved on to the Treasurer role, and became a UKCC Level 1 coach in 2011. Although a relative beginner, Jo now canoes regularly with the club (but not on white water just yet!).
Mark StonerAssistant Coach
 Mark has paddled with Break Out Canoe Club since its creation in 2005, when he attended our first course. He was Safety Officer at York University Canoe Club and holds the whitewater safety and rescue certificate. His experience includes paddling in France, Austria, Slovenia and the USA. He is now a Level 1 BCU coach and competes in Division 1 of the national canoe slalom league. Other canoeing interests include whitewater touring and canoe polo.
Johnathan KniftonSenior Coach
 Johnathan is a Level 2 BCU coach specialising in open canoeing, bellboating and stand-up paddle boarding.

John StonerHead Coach
 John is a Level 3 BCU coach and has been paddling for more than forty years. His main canoeing interest is canoe slalom - he has been competing on and off since 1978, and is just about hanging on in Division 2 of the national league. He has paddled in Scotland, California, The Alps, The Pyrenees and New Zealand. He is currently British Canoeing's representative for the East Midlands region, and a Scout county canoe assessor. In his spare time John works as an IT project manager for WS Atkins plc.

 John has paddled with Break Out Canoe Club since its creation in 2005, when he attended our first course along with Mark. He was president of the Nottingham Trent University canoe club, and has recently re-joined us as a regular coach
